Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, emerged from an extended period of social media silence to mark Arsenal's long-awaited Premier League triumph.

The 42-year-old, a devoted supporter of the north London club, took to X on Tuesday to repost the team's announcement declaring them champions, ending a drought stretching back more than two decades.

This marked his first activity on the platform since last July, when he announced that Beatrice, 37, had taken on the role of patron for the Chartered College of Teaching.

His most recent original post dates back to May 2025.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi has maintained a presence on Instagram despite stepping back from X.

The property developer's passion for Arsenal saw him cheering on the team at the Emirates Stadium earlier this year during their Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

His son Wolfie shares his enthusiasm for the Gunners and has been granted access to the owner's box at matches, according to Tatler.

This shared love of football has created a playful rivalry between Mr Mapelli Mozzi and Prince William, who supports Birmingham-based Aston Villa.

Sources speaking to the Mail earlier this year claimed the pair bonded over their "shared passion" for the sport, with "a fair amount of ribbing this season" between them.

The insider also noted that William has sought out "male company" following Prince Harry's relocation to America and departure from royal duties.

Villa currently sits in fourth position in the league and has enjoyed a strong campaign, though Arsenal's title victory will likely provide Mr Mapelli Mozzi with fresh ammunition for their friendly exchanges.
