The Princess of Wales has released unseen photos from her recent landmark trip to Italy.
Catherine, who visited Reggio Emilia in May on a two-day working visit last month, released the pictures alongside a heartwarming essay, where she made a passionate case for authentic human connection in an era dominated by screens.
Her milestone trip between May 13 and 14 marked her first overseas visit since her diagnosis, treatment and recovery from cancer.
This afternoon, the Royal Foundation shared a closer glimpse into the princess's international tour, releasing four photos.
One photo depicts the princess wearing a turquoise blazer over a white shirt, embracing young children with a wide smile emblazoned across her face.
The second shows Catherine in a striped beige jacket, kneeling down and listening to a young child intently.
The third again illustrates the future Queen kneeling down as she listens to a youngster, surrounded by a large group of children.
In another snapshot, the mother of three is captured rubbing the hair of a child, as others pose for a photo around her.
The never-before-seen photos come as Catherine penned a heartfelt and meaningful essay reflecting on her visit to northern Italy, poignantly warning about the dangers of excessive screen time in modern life.
The princess's piece, entitled "Creating the conditions for love to flourish through nature & creativity", pleads with readers to "reconnect with ourselves, with others, and the natural world."
Catherine has championed early childhood development for more than a decade, focusing on what can negatively influence children at young ages, includingaddiction, family breakdown, poor mental health, suicide and homelessness.
She contends early childhood development must be treated as a matter of global urgency.
"The children I met on my recent trip to Reggio Emilia radiated such qualities," she wrote. "Their innate ability to connect and communicate in all sorts of different ways made me feel immediately welcome, as they accepted a complete stranger with confidence and joy."
Catherine argued time spent outdoors and engaging in creative activities nurtures qualities that simply cannot be replicated by technology.
"By spending time in nature or being creative, we can nurture the very skills and emotions that cannot be digitised: awareness, empathy, humility, and above all, love," she penned.
The princess also shared a touching personal moment from her daily life.
"Last week, a parent at my children's school asked me if we could all do just one thing, what would it be? My answer is simple: to prioritise love," she revealed.
Christian Guy, Executive Director of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, said the Princess had emphasised during her Italian trip that early childhood must be treated "with the same urgency and sense of mission as other global challenges like climate change".
"This essay gives a real insight into how passionately HRH feels about the unique importance of early childhood and its ability to shape society, which is at the heart of all that we do at The Centre for Early Childhood," he added.
