- The Princess of Wales hosted a special afternoon tea at Windsor Castle for fellow fundraisers she met while undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
- In June, the princess scaled Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within a 24-hour period, becoming believed to be the first member of the royal family to complete the gruelling feat.
- Among the guests welcomed to Windsor Castle was 11-year-old wheelchair user Ted Haslam, who completed the challenge with support from family and friends to raise money for Molly Olly’s Wishes.
- The tea party was also attended by record-breaker Trish Patterson, the fastest woman to complete the challenge on foot in under six days, and fellow fundraiser Shaun McCormick.
- Reflecting on the meeting, the princess — who revealed in January 2025 that she was in remission from cancer — highlighted that behind every summit was a personal story of resilience, determination and mutual support.
