PETALING JAYA: Transport minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook (pic) announced that the motor licences or better known as road tax, do not have to be displayed on private vehicles owned by Malaysians.
Loke said that he welcomes all drivers and vehicle owners to transition to the digital platform as this allows the reduction of congestion and long lines at JPJ counters.
He also encouraged the public to register JPJ accounts at https://public.jpj.gov.my/ or the MyJPJ application on mobile devices to gain access to their digital vehicle and driving licences.
For foreigners, learners and vocational licences, physical driving licences and road taxes are still required as well as international driving permits.
More to come...
