SHAH ALAM – German police forcefully apprehended and detained pro-Palestine activists during a sit-in protest at Berlin Main Station on March 29.

According to Online News Portal, Memo Middle East Monitor, footage shared on X captured multiple police officers harshly cracking down on pro-Palestinian demonstrators at Berlin's Central Train Station, including assaulting a Muslim woman.

In the video, police officers were seen surrounding a woman believed to be Muslim and pushed her to the ground before restraining her after she participated in a solidarity demonstration.

“What is this? What are you doing?” shouts the woman in the video.

Despite her non-threatening demeanour, the police persisted in holding her down and subsequently arresting her.

As the demonstrators chanted slogans in support of Palestine, clashes erupted between protesters and police, leading to the detention of some individuals using aggressive methods.

It was reported that the German police said that the demonstration was unauthorised, causing disruption to passengers, and some protesters were detained for shouting criminal slogans.
