Kota Kinabalu: State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin bin Mohd Arif has asked Muis to investigate claims of hundreds of illegal Muslim burials near a Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) tower in Suang Parai, along Jalan Sulaman.
“I have sought information from Sabah Islamic Affairs Council (Muis), Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (Jheains) and relevant authorities over the matter.
“Once I have information about this, I will inform,” he said, after receiving a courtesy call from Federal Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Arthur Kurup at Wisma Bandaraya, Tuesday.
