
SEREMBAN: The Seremban City Council (MBS) has been instructed to look into a viral video circulating on social media showing a new housing project allegedly being built near a gas pipeline in Sendayan, near here.
State Local Government Development, Housing and Transport Committee chairman, J. Arul Kumar, said his office received the information yesterday afternoon after a 28-second video of the project went viral on Facebook and TikTok.

“We are aware of the matter and I have informed the Seremban City Council and the developer to review the project site. There’s a Gas Malaysia pipeline signage at the location, indicating that it is a connection pipe to the industrial area.
“I have asked MBS and the developer to recheck whether any construction work has encroached onto reserve land. If not, then there is no issue as the work remains within the private land owned by the developer,” he said.
