With a top speed of 196 mph, it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds thanks to an AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine that produces 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It is linked to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G gearbox.

Every one of the 250 production units is equipped with a pair of aerodynamically optimised helmets with an integrated intercom communication system that were created especially for the Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed. Prices and availability in the US have not yet been announced. Additional accents are integrated by the interior's iconic two-tone colour and crystal white/black equipment theme. Optimal lateral support and premium optics are provided by AMG Performance seats with specific leather covers and distinctive decorative stitching. The flowing lines of its design were influenced by the airflow surrounding the vehicle.

The custom-made analogue clock created by IWC Schaffhausen is another interior focal point. It is positioned prominently in the centre of the dashboard atop a glossy black drop-shaped enclosure supported by visible carbon fibre.

The distinctive front fascia honours the AMG One Hypercar, while the PureSpeed's absence of a roof and windscreen is accommodated by specially designed aerodynamic components throughout. Constructed entirely of steel, the halo is enhanced with detachable roll bars behind the back seats.
