PERBADANAN Nasional Berhad (Pernas), an agency under the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry (Kuskop), has introduced a new product called the Veteran Entrepreneurship and Financing Initiative Programme (I-VIP) for retirees and veterans.

It was launched by Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick at the Pernas Carnival at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Saturday.

Ewon said Pernas has allocated RM3 million for the initiative, which is expected to produce 200 new entrepreneurs and create over 300 job opportunities.

“I encourage the people of Sabah to take this opportunity to register as participants in the I-VIP Pernas programme,” he said.
