Kota Kinabalu: Some 60 Solidarity Anak Sabah members staged a peaceful three-hour protest walk over the rejection by State Assembly Speaker Datuk Kadzim Yahya to allow the so-called Sulu sultanate’s claims to be debated.
They were joined by Parti Warisan politicians at the State Legislative Assembly compound from 10.30am. They started their walk from Menara Kinabalu. However, no one came forward to present their memorandum to the Speaker.
Mohd Ismail Ayub, a spokesman, said the memorandum was to urge the Speaker to allow the Sulu claims to be debated.
