PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi says the Super League is dead.
Al-Khelaifi, as ECA president, says he told Barca supremo Joan Laporta as much last week. Barca are a key driver of the breakaway competition.
Al-Khelaifi said: "For me, the Super League does not exist.
"I told Laporta when are they going to stop with this stupid idea. The Champions League is the best club competition in the world. They are playing it, we have faced each other in the quarterfinals.
"I trust they stop it soon, because it makes no sense. I have always said that the door to return (to the ECA) is open."
