
LABUAN: The public expects the judiciary to live up to its promise that the RM130 million Sabah Water Department scandal will be concluded before the year is out as it has been dragging on since 2016.
An activist here, Lau Seng Kiat, said it was a major public interest issue being the state’s biggest scandal and the possibility of big names being involved.
“We are all eager to know who are the politicians involved as it is impossible to believe that the former Department Director Ag Mohd Tahir Mohd Talib and his wife were the only players in the scandal.
