Pumas signing Daniel Alves insists bears no grudge against Barcelona.

The Brazilian player has recently signed for Mexican side Pumas, Barcelona's opponents in the Joan Gamper Trophy, and will be able to return to his former home.

"Life has given me this gift. I will be able to say goodbye as I would have liked," he explained in an interview with TUDN News.

The player described his departures from the Catalan club in the past in this way.

"The penultimate time I was there, they took me out through the back door, then it was because my contract was up," he added.

"After that it was because my contract was up. What's going on? Nothing, ciao. I didn't expect much more because I signed for six months."
