PUTATAN: Some 1,800 registered fishermen in the district need the stability of the current government to continue for the sake of their development.
Sabah Fish Marketing Sdn Bhd Deputy Chairman Mohd Isquzawan Israq said their long-term plan is to build landing zones for large fishing vessels.
“Fishing is one of the major economic drivers for the community, alongside agriculture and food production.
“Datuk Seri Arsit Sedi himself has ensured that fishermen here receive the necessary attention.
