The Russian leader expressed his gratitude to UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a phone call, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
A Ukrainian-born Russian citizen has been extradited to Moscow from Dubai on suspicion of gravely injuring Vladimir Alexeyev.
Alexeyev serves as the deputy head of Russia’s vast GRU military intelligence service.
