Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn Rovers are the teams who are battling to sign Brighton midfielder Taylor Richards.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move away as he seeks regular first team football.
According to Football Insider, both clubs have asked about taking him on loan or in a permanent transfer.
Richards was at Birmingham City during the second half of last season.
The ex-Manchester City youngster signed a new contract with Brighton a year ago that will keep him at the club until 2024.
Richards has only five appearances for Brighton's first team and none in the Premier League.
