Departing Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling has passed the first half of his Chelsea medical.
City and Chelsea have agreed terms over a fee for the England ace, who is inside the final year of his existing deal.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports the midfielder has passed the bulk of his medical at Chelsea in London.
Sterling has already agreed a contract to 2027 with the Blues.
There is a confidence the transfer will be announced this week.
