Hennessy draws inspiration from its Chinese New Year 2026 tagline, “Gallop Towards Bright Perspectives” with a new creative expression – an original Chinese New Year single and music video in Malaysia, titled Raise for Luck! (好運乾一杯!), performed by some of the country’s most illustrious entertainment darlings.

While strengthening its long-standing relationship with music, Hennessy is grabbing attention for all the right reasons – Raise for Luck is a catchy rendition that channels the forward momentum, dynamic energy, and optimism of the Year of the Horse. Led by creative creators and newly-weds Chang Yong and Shu Sen, as well as award-winning artiste Jeryl Lee, EDM pioneer DJ Blink, multidisciplinary dancer Victoria Ng, and fashion favourite duo Jack Gohr and Zhen Ning, the lineup represents the next era of the entertainment industry. The visuals and music also aim to capture Hennessy’s spirit as the spark that turns every gathering into a celebration as Chinese New Year culture is redefined in today’s context – expressively, ever-evolving and shared.

The clink of glasses, the laughter that fills the room, and the shared rhythm (and dance moves) that bring people together. The track is catchy. It is a song to dance to, cheers to, and reunite to, according to Chang Yong. Through these moments, the song – like many Chinese New Year tunes – continues to celebrate the spirit of reunion and togetherness; the very heartbeat of the festivities.

Adding a fresh, modern edge to the song, Hennessy has also enlisted trailblazer DJ Blink to bring his signature rhythm and energetic drop into the tune – amplifying the celebratory spirit. Powerhouse Jeryl Lee also layers the song with her vocals, complementing the dance moves that are already taking over social media as we speak.

She adds: “Chinese New Year is a time for family and friends to reconnect, and Hennessy is proud to be part of those celebrations. We believe music and dance have the power to unite, and during Chinese New Year, they create meaningful moments of reconnection.”
