KUALA LUMPUR – Ibrahim Mat Zin, infamously known as Raja Bomoh, drew media attention when he arrived at the sinkhole site near Jalan Masjid India on Wednesday, where an Indian national had tragically gone missing.
Ibrahim said that his visit was to aid in the search efforts for the missing person involved in the incident.
“I am here not for any other reason but to assist in the search, as I see that despite days of effort, they have not yet found the victim.
“I want to help with the search and use specific methods if permitted by the authorities,” he told reporters at the sinkhole location.
The sinkhole incident last Friday saw a woman named Vijayaletchumy, 48, from Kuppam, Andhra, India, falling into an eight-metre deep hole.
The search and rescue operation has now entered its sixth day.
