Juicy news keep cropping up over social media about politicians and their lives as GE15 campaigns gain momentum. Infidelity and secret deals spread faster than a bush fire in a country that thrives on loose chatter and rumour-mongering.
Social media is most recently abuzz with news of Zahid Hamidi's extramarital relationship as revealed by Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) in his latest video blog.
This piece of report by a celebrated blogger may not be welcomed news for Zahid, the Chairman of BN who is already facing other pressing issues during one of the most highly contested election where his party faces multiple challenges in all constituencies.

RPK in a brief video blog (1.10 min) told his audience that Zahid who wanted to sue him over his allegations about the latter's involvement in LCS scandals ought to do likewise about what he is saying in his latest blog.
In this brief but most scathing criticism yet, RPK alleged that Zahid has an extramarital affair with a married woman who is currently employed at a well-known hotel in Kuala Lumpur not too far away from UMNO's headquarters. A real convenient location for an affair, don't you think?
RPK repeated the name of the lady in question several times. He ended his short video by saying since Zahid planned to sue him over his allegations on the latter's involvement in the LCS scandal he ought to do the same on his latest revelation.
A few days earlier Zahid Hamidi reportedly threatened to take legal action against RPK for accusing him of receiving millions of ringgit in kickbacks in connection with the problematic littoral combat ship (LCS) project delayed for several years and is yet to be completed. (malaysiakini)
Zahid challenged RPK to back his accusations with evidence of his allegations.
“I hope Raja Petra, before making any accusation, will come up with proof and documents to support his allegation. Otherwise, I will sue him for defamation and I will ask my lawyers to take legal action against him,” he said. (malaysiakini)
Meanwhile, MACC is reportedly planning to meet RPK (in UK) to obtain his statement over his allegations that Zahid received kickbacks amounting to S$20 million (about RM67 million) from the LCS project.
While this latest corruption allegation will take time to be investigated and perhaps convince the electorates on the integrity of the chairman of BN, news about an extramarital relationship which often spreads like wildfire in a country that loves gossip, will hurt someone like Zahid even more than bribes, in his campaigns during a General Election.
But for many who had heard of RPK's revelation, the hotel mentioned is now a must visit place in Kuala Lumpur. The curious folks are making a beeline for the hotel just to get a glimpse of this lady in question.
Good luck guys.
Chances are she is in hiding or must have moved to another location by now.
