RANAU: Residents of Kg Bongkud and Kg Namaus Ranau and several other villages should be patient for the resolution of their objections to, proposed gold mining in Tompong Hill located near the two villages.
Ranau District Officer Jumain Bin Abd Ghani said the residents’ objections to the more had been brought to the knowledge of the higher authorities.
“This has been conveyed to the Chief Minister, the Ranau Member of Parliament, the Paginatan Assemblyman and the Karanaan Assemblyman.
“What is important is that the residents be patient while waiting for a solution,” he said.
