
TAWAU: A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of raping his underage neighbour on Thursday.
The suspect was detained at 7.50pm after the victim lodged a police report, accompanied by her grandmother.

“The victim’s grandmother realised her granddaughter was behaving unusually. When questioned, the victim told her she had been raped by the suspect three times over the past two months.

The suspect was then arrested and placed under remand for investigation under Section 376(1) of the Penal Code for rape.
