India’s beloved VIROSH couple ties the knot in a dreamy dual-ceremony Udaipur wedding on Feb 26, 2026

ONE of Indian cinema’s most-anticipated weddings has finally taken place.

Actress Rashmika Mandanna and actor Vijay Deverakonda officially became husband and wife on Feb 26, 2026, in a private, intimately planned celebration held at the ITC Mementos hotel, nestled 25 kilometres outside of Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The couple, affectionately nicknamed “VIROSH” by their devoted fanbase, exchanged vows in not one but two ceremonies — a traditional Telugu wedding reflecting Vijay’s heritage, which began at 10:10 a.m., followed by an evening Kodava ceremony honoring Rashmika’s cultural roots from Karnataka’s Kodava community.

The dual celebration was a meaningful nod to both families’ traditions.

To maintain the sanctity and privacy of the occasion, guests were required to surrender their phones and cameras at the venue.

Despite the no-media policy inside, the couple personally shared their first official wedding photographs on Instagram, sending fans into a frenzy. Within hours, their combined posts had garnered over 18 million likes.

Rashmika broke the news to her followers with an emotional caption: “Introducing to you, my husband!” — a line that quickly went viral across social media platforms.

In her heartfelt message to Vijay, she credited him as the person who helped her grow into the woman she had always aspired to be, writing that her achievements, struggles, and life itself now made deeper sense with him by her side.

Vijay, equally candid, shared that he had fallen in love with the idea of having his closest companion with him always, writing that his feelings crept up on him quietly — through shared meals, workouts, and the warmth of her presence — before he made the decision to marry his best friend. His post was dated 26.02.2026.

The pair first met on the sets of the Telugu romantic drama Geetha Govindam (2018) and later starred together in Dear Comrade (2019).

Relationship speculation had followed them for years, and they sealed their engagement quietly in 2025. They are next set to appear together on screen in Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, slated for release on September 11, 2026.

Rashmika, who shot to national fame with Pushpa and later Animal, and Vijay, celebrated for Arjun Reddy and Pelli Choopulu, are among the biggest pan-India stars of their generation.

Congratulations poured in from across the industry, with stars including Nani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Kriti Sanon among the first to send their wishes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his blessings to both families.

The newlyweds are expected to host a wedding reception in Hyderabad on March 4, 2026.
