They are facing off against Sangrur at the latter’s home ground in the second league match of Group D in Inter-District Cricket Tournament for Dhruv Pandove Trophy.
After winning the toss, Ludhiana batters dominated the proceedings with disciplined stroke play and valuable partnerships. Ravtej Singh was the star performer with 142 runs off 161 balls. His inning was studded with 15 boundaries and five sixes.

He received good support from Karandeep Singh Sidhu (63) and Kanav Singla (59). The innings was also boosted by 22 extras as the batting side maintained a strong scoring rate throughout the day.
Among Sangrur bowlers, who toiled hard on a hot day, Laksh Verma was the most successful with figures of 3 for 36 in 12 overs. Harsirat Singh claimed two wickets for 78, and Pritham Singh, Alic Pahwa and Nishant Tomar picked a wicket each.
