THE annual selection session for the RCB MotoKidz Championship was successfully held at Horizon Beranang Circuit on 4 March 2026. Introduced in 2025, the programme continues to serve as a key platform in identifying and developing young riding talents.

Online registration attracted a total of 27 participants. All applications underwent a documentation screening process based on age eligibility and the stipulated selection criteria before progressing to the next stage.

The selection session was conducted using a comprehensive evaluation format to assess the true potential of each young rider.

The assessment comprised two main components, namely Basic Riding and Full Riding. The Basic Riding session focused on fundamental bike control, balance, and rider confidence, while the Full Riding session evaluated overall riding capability, including racing lines, throttle control, and on-track consistency.

Through this structured evaluation approach, ZK Racing were able to identify young talents who demonstrated strong potential and solid riding fundamentals.

As a result of the selection, a total of six riders have been chosen to join the development programme under the RCB MotoKidz Championship.

The RCB MotoKidz Championship serves as a continuation of the existing talent development programme under MotoMini Malaysia, with a continued focus on structured rider development from grassroots to a more competitive level.

For the 2026 season, eight riders from the 2025 season will return to compete, further enhancing the level of competition and overall race quality among young riders.

As the next step in the rider development pathway, the Overall Champion of the 2025 RCB MotoMini Championship, Fayyadh Anaqi, will progress to the SIC Ohvale Junior Championship, a 110cc category under the MotoMini Malaysia Championship.

As the title sponsor, RCB remains committed to supporting the championship for the 2026 season, in line with its aspiration to strengthen the development of two-wheel motorsports at the grassroots level. The championship is also supported by UMA Racing as a strategic partner in advancing young talent development within the sport.

This ongoing commitment reflects efforts to nurture a new generation of competitive young riders, not only at the national level but also with the potential to compete on the international stage.

This support is aligned with the vision of building a sustainable, competitive, and high-impact motorsports ecosystem, further strengthening Malaysia’s position as a regional hub for two-wheel talent development.

The championship continues to play a vital role as a grassroots development platform in discovering and nurturing new talents, contributing to the future growth of motorsports in the country.
