Real Madrid Castilla coach Raul has recalled bringing through Alvaro Rodriguez.
The 18 year-old was in Real's squad for last night's Champions League win at Liverpool.
Raul said: "lvaro has that bulk, but from the beginning I saw him very coordinated for his age.
"lvaro was a winger in Juvenil C, one day I was watching Juvenil B, there was a cross and I saw him finish it off. It had been a long time since I had seen anyone in the juniors score like that...
"I promoted him due to circumstances and needs, and I saw that it did not clash, I saw that what I imagined he could do.
From that Juvenil B I stayed with lvaro and Mario Martin. They transmitted different things and were able to compete with the older ones."
