Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Eduardo Camavinga's future is as a central midfielder.
For the moment, the French youngster is being played at wing-back.
Ahead of facing Cadiz, Ancelotti said: "The important thing for him in this period is to continue progressing.
"This moment, where he plays pivot and winger, helps him learn and improve. He is lucky to have physical features that you can put wherever you want, he doesn't change much.
"He will be a great pivot, but he has to take advantage of the fact that when he plays on the wing he can acquire defensive concepts."
