Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted he hopes to see both Toni Kroos and Luka Modric sign new deals.
The veteran midfield pair come off contract at the end of June.
Ancelotti said today: "I am always optimistic, everything you talk about is secondary topics. We are focused on the games, we will talk about the future after the end.
"I have never had problems with players, before being a top level player (Modric), he is even more spectacular as a person.
"We will never have a problem because we respect each other a lot."
