Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has sung the praises of Toni Rudiger.
Ahead of facing Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal in Riyadh, Ancelotti was asked about the Germany defender.
He said, "Rdiger is a very attentive, very focused centre-back. He has many qualities, he has experience and has very good knowledge at a defensive level. Positioning, character, personality... he is a very complete defender.
"His best quality is that he is pessimistic because he always thinks that something bad can happen so he is always very focused on the game."
Ancelotti then joked with a reporter: "Haven't I answered you? Yes, two pessimists... that's all I have at the moment!"
