Real Madrid defender Nacho has apologised to Girona striker Portu after sending him to hospital last night.
With Real 3-0 up in injury-time, Nacho was sent off for an ugly challenge on Portu, with the striker later being taken to hospital for treatment.
Afterwards, Nacho posted to social media: "I want to apologise to Portu for an involuntary action in the match.
"Today and in my entire career I never had the intention of harming anyone. I hope you can recover well and quickly."
Nacho was shown a direct red card after VAR consultation.
