Real Madrid fullback Dani Carvajal was delighted with their win at Osasuna.
Eder Militao proved the matchwinner on the day.
Carvajal said: “Our aim was to take all three points and that's what we've managed to do. We go to bed tonight top of the table and that puts the pressure on Barcelona a little bit. It's another win that fills us with confidence.
“We always want to score more than one, two, or three. This time, our defensive display was crucial. Keeping a clean sheet got us the win today. Winning by a single goal and not conceding places even greater value on the clean sheet. I hope we can continue in the same vein and keep several more clean sheets.
“From an attacking point of view, make the most of overloads out wide, since they're playing with five, or three in the middle. At the back, it was about not losing our shape, they look to suck you in to get the ball out to their target men. The line of four held out well and from there we were able to stay pretty compact."
