Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham feels Leo Messi deserved the Ballon d'Or.
Messi won the trophy for the eighth time after leading Argentina to their World Cup victory last year.
Kopa Trophy winner Bellingham backs the vote and says: "He is an incredible player, that is why he has eight awards. Without a doubt, Messi is one of the best footballers in history.
"He is incredible, for all the work he has done, not only for what he has seen in the World Cup."
Asked about winning the Ballon d'Or himself, Bellingham said: "Honestly, I still don't think about it. Today I was here collecting the award thanks to the work of my teammates in the team and in the England team."
