Real Madrid are ready to launch a bid to re-sign Raphael Varane from Manchester United.
Real are in need of a new centre-half signing in January after David Alaba suffered an ACL injury on Sunday. Eder Militao is also recovering from ACL surgery after breaking down at the start of the season.
Cadena Cope says they're interested in bringing Varane back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 30 year-old is off contract in June and the chance to return to Real may prove attractive given the problems encountered in England.
This season, Varane has made 14 appearances scored once.
