Real Sociedad became the second LaLiga side to secure a top-two spot as goals from Alexander Sorloth, Diego Rico and substitute Roberto Navarro secured a 3-0 home win against Sheriff.
It was Navarro's first goal for the club.
Carlos Fernandez and Brais Mendez had both hit the post during the match and goalkeeper Alex Remiro did not have to make a single save.
