KOTA KINABALU: A crocodile was sighted in the waters of Tanjung Aru beach here at around 8.15am on Sunday, prompting a public alert, according to the Kota Kinabalu Civil Defence Force (APM)'s Facebook page.
Lifeguards raised the red flag and advised beachgoers to limit water activities as a precaution.
Authorities closely monitor the situation and urge the public to spread awareness to prevent untoward incidents.
