redONE launches The ONE Prepaid with rewards and flexible data options

SHAH ALAM – RedONE Mobile has introduced The ONE Prepaid, a new prepaid offering aimed at giving Malaysians more flexible mobile data options without long-term commitments.

The telco said the new offering is designed particularly with younger users, including students, in mind, while allowing customers to select plans based on their individual usage.

redONE Mobile group chief executive officer Farid Yunus said The ONE Prepaid was built around a “no-nonsense” approach, which focuses on keeping the prepaid experience simple and straightforward.

“More rewarding is about giving them something extra beyond simply using their data.

“That is what The ONE Prepaid is about, making prepaid usage simple right from the start, while giving customers more value throughout their experience with redONE Mobile,” he said.

The new offering starts with an RM8 starter pack, which includes a 1GB activation bonus and RM5 credit.

Customers who port in to The ONE Prepaid will also receive RM5 in free credit for six months, the company said.

For data users, the ONE25 Mobile Internet (MI) plan offers 180GB for RM25 over 30 days.

Other MI options range from RM3 for daily use to RM38 for a yearly plan, allowing customers to select a package based on their usage.

The ONE Prepaid also comes with access to redONE's 5G network coverage nationwide, according to the company.

Beyond mobile data, redONE is also introducing a rewards element through its redONE Prepaid App.

Customers can earn redCOINS through their usage and redeem them for rewards and vouchers, while special draws will offer opportunities to win additional prizes.

The company said the new offering is intended to give customers reasons to continue engaging with the service beyond activating their SIM cards.

Customers who later decide to move to a redONE Postpaid plan after six months can also receive a free 5G phone, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

The ONE Prepaid is now available at redONE Mobile stores, partner stores and prepaid dealers nationwide.
