THE number of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) repatriated from Saudi Arabia reached 365, following the arrival of 60 more on Sunday night.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) said on Facebook that the 60 OFWs from Riyadh arrived at about 10 p.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on a Qatar Airways flight.
The latest batch was transported to Al Qassim, where they boarded their flight to the Philippines.
OFWs began returning home after Houthi rebels in Yemen launched drone strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, disrupting flights.
The first batch arrived on Oct. 19.
"Every OFW who we are able to repatriate is one countryman who will again be with their family. Our assistance continues until they have returned to their respective homes," OWWA Administrator Patricia Yvonne Caunan said.
