Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with Morocco international Ismael Saibari but an agreement with his club PSV Eindhoven over a transfer to the Bundesliga champions is yet to be made, Dutch media have reported.

De Telegraaf said late Tuesday that "Saibari has agreed in principle with Bayern" who "want a quick finalization of the transfer of the PSV midfielder."

AD said Saibari hopes for a quick decision between the clubs because "Bayern are a club he definitely wants to join." The report said the transfer fee could amount to a PSV club record €48 million ($55.9 million).

Saibari, 25, has been at PSV since 2020 and entered the first team in 2022. He was elected Player of the Year in the Eredivisie after PSV won a third straight title in the past season.

He has 29 Morocco caps, scoring nine goals, won the Africa Cup of Nations this year after Senegal's disqualification from the final and is a member of the Moroccan squad for the upcoming World Cup.

AD said that Bayern are also interested in PSV's right back Sergiño Dest but that there have been no talks on the United States international.
