Attacks were reported in Lebanon on Wednesday despite the ceasefire between Israel and the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia.
The Lebanese state NNA news agency said Israel launched an attack on southern Lebanon using fighter jets and drones, while the village of Maifadoun was shelled with artillery, resulting in two deaths.
Four people were killed in an airstrike on the eastern Bekaa Valley, the NNA said.
An Israeli army spokesman said on Wednesday that Israel must take "vigorous" action against Hezbollah due to the militia's violations of the ceasefire, calling on residents of further towns in southern Lebanon to leave their homes immediately. The warnings are usually followed by fresh airstrikes.
The Israeli military said it targeted around 25 Hezbollah-linked sites in the past 24 hours, including weapons depots.
It accused the militia of firing drones and rockets loaded with explosives at Israeli soldiers.
In northern Israel, an air raid siren sounded in the town of Shtula early on Wednesday after the Israeli military intercepted a "suspicious flying object" near soldiers, with debris reportedly posing a risk.
Hezbollah announced overnight that it attacked Israeli soldiers in the south of the country with a drone and rockets.
