
KOTA BELUD: A 16-year-old girl who was reported missing while swimming with her family in Sungai Kadamaian near the Kg Pirasan and Kg Piasau border was found dead on Monday.
Khairunnisa Ann Kembarudin’s body was found on Monday some 3.5 kilometres from where she was last seen.
AdvertisementThe discovery was made at 3.54pm through a joint effort of local villagers and rescue personnel.
Kota Belud Fire and Rescue Station Chief Muhammad Syazwan Latun said police pronounced the teenager dead at the scene before transferring her to Kota Belud hospital.
