MANILA, Philippines—The Sandiganbayan Third Division on Tuesday ordered the detention of former senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. at the Quezon City jail male dormitory.
Revilla surrendered to the police on Monday, hours after the anti-graft court issued a warrant for his arrest in connection with charges arising from a ghost control project.
He underwent booking procedures under the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
The Sandiganbayan set Revilla’s arraignment and pre-trial on January 23, 2026.
