In view of the prevailing heatwave, the Punjab Government has revised office timings, following which Aashika Jain and other district administration officials began official work at 7.30 am on Monday.

The Deputy Commissioner reached her office at 7.25 am and instructed all officers and employees to strictly maintain punctuality according to the revised timings so that people do not face any inconvenience in availing citizen services and other facilities.

The DC further directed Additional Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Kumud Bambah to ensure punctuality in all government offices located in the District Administrative Complex and other establishments in the larger public interest.

The Deputy Commissioner said that public services and official work would continue without delay and all employees would remain present at their seats by 7.30 AM daily. It is noteworthy that the revised office timings, effective from Monday, are from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
