RFK Jr catches rattlesnake in new video responding to snake-wrangling criticism

RFK Jr responded to criticism of his snake-wrangling antics with a new video of him catching a rattlesnake.

On Tuesday (26 May), the health secretary posted a clip of him holding a pair of non-venomous Black Racer snakes, which appear to bite him.

“Why are you stressing the snake out? How about guiding it off the patio instead of holding it up for show,” one Instagram user wrote.

In response to the viral footage, RFK Jr. posted a new clip on Wednesday (27 May) showing him catching a rattlesnake in his driveway.

Using a small net, the health secretary managed to scoop up the reptile and place it in a bucket. “This is a beautiful snake,” he said, before asking his wife, Cheryl, to bring him a pillow case to place the creature in to transport it back to the wild.
