Watford have snapped up free agent Danny Welbeck.
The 28-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Arsenal when his contract expired at the end of last season.
That ended a five-year spell at Arsenal, who he joined from boyhood club Manchester United on deadline day in September 2014. He has now signed terms with the Hornets.
The England international has not played a competitive game since suffering a serious ankle injury in the Europa League group stage clash with Sporting Lisbon in November 2018 but is fit again.
At Arsenal, Welbeck scored 32 goals in 126 games.
