The Masters is now just two weeks away, but the field is still not fully set.

Several high-profile players are still on the outside looking in as the countdown to Augusta continues.

With limited opportunities left to qualify, the pressure is building fast, and some of the biggest names in golf now face a race against time.

Rickie Fowler among big names not qualified for The Masters

Rickie Fowler is one of the most surprising names yet to secure his place at Augusta.

The American, who finished runner-up at The Masters in 2018, is still outside the qualification spots and running out of time to change that. He is not alone.

Joaquin Niemann, one of LIV Golf’s standout performers, has also not yet confirmed his place, while rising star Sahith Theegala remains at risk of missing out.

Billy Horschel is another experienced name still not qualified, with the former FedEx Cup champion slipping down the world rankings.

Will Zalatoris, who finished second at Augusta in 2021, is also yet to secure his place after injury setbacks affected his ranking.

Tony Finau, once considered a consistent contender at The Masters, is another notable name still on the outside.

And Tom Kim, one of the most exciting young players in the game, could also miss out if results do not go his way in the coming weeks.

Why are these stars at risk of missing The Masters?

For most players, qualification now hinges on climbing into the world’s top 50 or securing a win before the cut-off.

That leaves very little margin for error with just a handful of events remaining.

Injuries have played a role in some cases, particularly for Zalatoris, while others have simply struggled for consistent results.

For Niemann, competing on LIV Golf has complicated his path, with ranking points harder to come by.

With time running out, the next two weeks could prove decisive. And unless results go their way quickly, several big names may be forced to watch The Masters from home this year.
