Celebrate the new year in style at the Exchange TRX with electrifying acts
Celebrate the arrival of 2025 in style at The Exchange TRX, the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant social scene. The New Year’s Eve Countdown Party promises an unforgettable night of live performances, gourmet dining, late-night shopping, and a dazzling fireworks and laser show, all in support of Kechara Soup Kitchen’s work with Malaysia’s Indigenous communities.
The Main Event
Headlining the event is Canadian singer and Super Junior-M member Henry Lau, alongside American indie-pop duo Capital Cities, best known for their hit “Safe and Sound.” The evening will also feature Malaysia’s top musical talent, including P A L E N C I A’s unique folk music, Saint Kylow’s energetic performance and Putri Dahlia, whose hit song has garnered over 163 million streams.
Other performances include NYK, Daiyan Trisha, and electrifying sets by Joe Flizzow & SonaOne and K-Town Clan. The night will culminate with Aidahob2bAshley Lau, who will keep the energy high as the clock strikes midnight. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis, with capacity limits in place for safety. 
The Early Bird Gets The Worm
Arrive early to ensure the best access to the festivities. The Exchange TRX is also partnering with Kechara Soup Kitchen for the “DoGood, Feel Good” initiative, inviting guests to contribute to the Food Mission campaign supporting food distribution to Indigenous communities.
Additionally, the countdown offers two unique vantage points: Raintree Plaza, where guests can immerse themselves in live performances and the fireworks display, and TRX City Park, a family-friendly space perfect for enjoying the festive atmosphere. Exclusive viewing areas are available for loyalty members, offering prime views of the fireworks and performances.

Beyond the festivities, guests can enjoy late-night dining, shopping, and wellness experiences at over 70 retailers, including luxury brands like Kate Spade, Coach, and Swarovski. Restaurants such as Warung Eropa, Amazonas and Two Sons-The Loft will offer diverse dining options, while beauty and wellness services ensure you look and feel your best.
Gates open at 4:30 PM, with performances starting at 5:00 PM. Plan your arrival early for a seamless experience, with extended MRT hours and designated ride-hailing pick-up points.
