BEAUFORT: Five open halls costing a total RM1 million will be built in the Lumadan constituency from April this year.
Lumadan Assemblyman Datuk Ruslan Muharam said the construction of multi-purpose facilities at a cost of RM200,000 each, to be funded by Lumadan Assemblyman Fund, aims to meet the needs of the people in the locations involved.
He said the site for the infrastructure known as the DHRM Unity Hall had been identified and gazetting process for implementation before construction works begin.
“The construction of the infrastructure will be carried out in Kampung Karangan, Lupak, Lawa and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Gadong while the remaining locations are still in the process of being gazetted.
