SANDAKAN: A total of RM10 million has been allocated under the new Concerts and Events in Malaysia Incentive (CEMI), aimed at supporting Malaysia’s creative and events industry.

Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching said the Budget 2025 allocation through MyCreative Ventures is designed to raise industry standards and promote strategic partnerships.

She said the incentive supports large-scale concerts and events with a minimum venue capacity of 15,000, featuring both local and international acts to boost the national economy.
