BELURAN: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) uncovered a syndicate storing subsidised diesel at an unnumbered store at Kg Iran, here, Saturday.
Its Sabah director Georgie Abas said a raid carried out at 2.33pm discovered 15,000 liters of diesel in a tanker lorry and drums believed to be for sale to the industry.
“Also seized were equipment used in the illegal activity, namely two tanker lorries, an electronic pump and a hose,” he stated, adding that items seized were valued at RM159,500.
