KUALA LUMPUR: The federal government has reaffirmed its commitment to Sabah’s development with a RM17.5 billion allocation for 2026.

This funding is part of continuous efforts to strengthen the well-being of people in the state.

The Ministry of Finance stated that major infrastructure projects, including the RM13.9 billion Pan Borneo Sabah Highway, have been resumed under the MADANI government.

Basic facility improvements are also underway, including the development of the Sabah Heart Centre at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital.
